The Women's Handball Team of the...

In the final round of the University League, our women's handball team won against the team from the Faculty of Kinesiology (23-16), thus earning the bronze medal.

Our students Mara Budić, Nina Bušić, Mona Jambrušić, Martina Koprivnjak, Marija Kusanić, Sara Lukes, Ana Čosić and Magdalena Žigrović are responsible for achieving such a great result, while Dora Sertić, the Vice President of the Students' Sports Association of the Faculty of Law, was responsible for leading and organizing the team.

The University Women's Handball League consists of nine teams divided into two groups. On the way to winning the bronze medal, the women's handball team of the Faculty of Law won against the teams of the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences. In the quarterfinals, our contestants won against the team from the Faculty of Kinesiology with a convincing score (29-8). Our handball players were stopped in the semi-finals by the team from the Faculty of Agronomy, which later ended up winning the whole competition. In their final match, the Women's Handball Team of the Faculty of Law beat the team from the Faculty of Kinesiology with a score of 23-16, thus winning the bronze medal.
