Presentation of the Partner Group for Balkan Criminology in Zagreb on 28-29 June 2013

On 28th and 29th June 2013, the new Max Planck Partner Group for Balkan Criminology will be officially introduced in the presence of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Prof. Dr. Ivo Josipović, and the German Ambassador, Mr. Hans Peter Annen. The Max Planck Partner Group, jointly established by the Zagreb Faculty of Law and the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law, aims at connecting and interlinking criminological research in Southeastern Europe and improving its further development and visibility in Europe and beyond.

In the course of the presentation, three events will be offered: The inauguration ceremony, the presentation of the research program of the Partner Group, and an information program aiming at awareness-raising among stakeholders and creating funding opportunities.

The list of speakers further includes the Dean of the Zagreb Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Zoran Parać, the Managing Director of the MPI, Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg Albrecht, the Head of the Partner Group, Dr. Anna-Maria Getoš, LL.M., and Dr. Claudia Hillinger, representing the Max Planck Society.
