Petar Miladin (born 1973) is a law graduate, Master of Laws (1999) and a PhD (2005) at Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. His Master thesis was „Bank secrecy and bank notification“ and his PhD thesis was „Payment via giro transfer“. He was an intern at Municipal and Commercial Court in Zagreb and he passed the bar exam. From 1997 he is employed at Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb and from 2013 he is a regular professor. He lectures commercial law, company law and banking law at undergraduate, Master and PhD levels. From 2012-2014 he was vice-dean of Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. He is a researcher at „Adjustment of Croatian Company Law to EU Law“ project and head of „Adjustment of Croatian Law and Economy to European Capital Market“ project. He is an arbitrator on the list of arbitrators of the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. He is a representative of the Republic of Croatia in IV. working group of UNCITRAL for electronic commerce and in working group of ICC for commercial law. He has written numerous papers and books on commercial law, company law and banking law.
