prof. dr. sc.
Siniša Petrović

Siniša Petrović (born 1966.) is a law graduate, Master of Laws (1994) and a PhD (1998) at Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, his doctoral thesis being ‘Mergers of Public Limited Companies and Other Concentrations in the Company Law’. From 1991 he has been empoyed as an assistant, docent, associate professor and from 2007 as a regular professor at Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. He lectures undergraduate, Master and PhD courses in universities of Zagreb, Rijeka, Split and Graz. From 1999-2001 he was a vice-dean of Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. He was a member of the negotiating team for negotiations on accession of the Republic of Croatia to the EU. He is also an arbitrator on the list of arbitrators of the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. He has published many papers and several monographs in the field of commercial law, company law, competition law, sports law and foreign investments.
