Cognitive Skills:
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
1. define and distinguish terms related to group work
2. explain, recognise and classify types of groups in psychosocial work
3. recognise, explain and identify features of individual phases in group work
4. recognise, explain and describe interventions and techniques used in group work
5. differentiate specific festures of motivating team members depending on the aspect of (in)vluntariness of inclusion in group work
6. plan according to specific steps of planning a treatment professionally moderated group with different users
7. design a group meeting in accordance with set goals and specific characteristics of group members
8. independently or in a pair moderate a treatment group

After successfully completing the course, students will gain the ability to:

Pair task – group planning (obligation in practical work):
This task forms 20% of the final course grade. 0,5,10,15 i 20 points are given with the following meaning:
- 0 – incorrect application of answer to all formulated questions
- 5 – incorrect and/or incomplete answewrs in more than 50% of questions
- 10 – answers generally satisfy requirements, but are not elaborated or theer are certain shortcomings or mistakes
- 15 – correct answers
- 20 - ianswers of exceptional quality that show understanding
1.2. Pair work – oragnising and managing group
It is not graded, but it is obligatory for all students so they can gain skill of planning, organising and managing group meeting in a pair, in the duration of 45 minutes
1.3. Written examination
Written examination consist of 7 open questions, at which each of 6 questions can bring the maximum of 10 points, and one question 20 points. The maximum score is 80.
Points earned for group plannig task are added (maximum of 20 points) and the grading system is as follows:
0-60 – insufficient (1)
60-65 – sufficient (2)
70-75 – good (3)
80-85 – very goos (4)
90-100 – excellent (5)
1.4. Oral examination
Students take oral examination after they pass the written examination.
1.5. Final course grade
Final course grade is formed on the basis of points earned for homework, written and oral examinations.
