The Civil Law Initiative is a French organization promoting the Romano-Germanic Legal system around the world.

Every year, the Civil Law Initiative organizes, in partnership with the prestigious University Paris II Pantheon Assas, a  It consists in an international meeting of all people interested by the civil law culture, whether they are law students, legal professionals or academics. The program offers ten different courses of ten hours each, all taught by eminent law professors and practitioners, with different fields of expertise and backgrounds. The courses are available in three different languages: English, French and Spanish. Finally, pursuant to an optional final examination, participants will be awarded a certificate of training in Civil Law by the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II).

In 2018, the Civil Law Initiative will celebrate the 10^th anniversary of her Summer School. This session will take place in Paris, from July the 2^nd until the 20^th and we are pleased to announce you that the registrations have already started.
