Summary
The paper discusses the specifics of the labour law position of the director. The status of this category is not sufficiently clearly regulated, nor clarified and elaborated in theory. The regulation of the working status of directors of persons has mainly been based on case-law and legislation in the domain of labour and commercial law. Without a clear labour law concept, the labour law position of directors differs from country to country, and from case to case, which generally leads to a rather uneven status and legal uncertainty for these persons. Since this is a topic that is insufficiently studied in labour law literature, in this paper we will try to present and analyze this issue more clearly from the labour law angle.
