Sažetak
U radu se ističu dosad uočene i izložene specifičnosti objavljivanja rezultata u pravnim znanostima te problemi u vezi s njihovim vrednovanjem kroz bibliografske i citatne baze u europskom kontekstu, te se na temelju navedenoga putem studije slučaja ispituje njihova relevantnost i za Hrvatsku. Konkretnije, u radu se razmatra profil Zbornika Pravnog fakulteta u Zagrebu, najstarijega hrvatskog pravnog časopisa, u razdoblju od 2007. (prve godine zastupljenosti u Scopusu) do zaključno 2024. godine, kako glede sadržajnih obilježja i dostupnosti tako i odjeka koje su objavljeni članci imali u široj znanstvenoj zajednici. Uspoređuju se citiranost u Scopusu i Google Scholaru te se posebna pozornost poklanja jezičnoj distribuciji kod najcitiranijih radova. Zaključuje se da je broj citata u komercijalnim bibliografskim bazama dvojbena mjera vrednovanja znanstvenoga ishoda istraživanja u pravnim znanostima, dok je održivost znanstvenih časopisa koji raspravljaju lokalne specifičnosti, uspostavljaju stručne jezične standarde na nacionalnom jeziku, okupljaju lokalnu znanstvenu i stručnu zajednicu te stvaraju veze s nacionalnim obrazovnim sustavom od posebne važnosti u nacionalno orijentiranim disciplinama u koje neprijeporno pripadaju i pravne znanosti.

The Law Journal as a Reflection of National Legal Discourse: The Case of the Zbornik Pravnog fakulteta u Zagrebu (Collected Papers of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb)

Summary
The paper highlights the specific features of publishing in legal scholarship that have so far been identified and discussed, as well as the problems related to their evaluation through bibliographic and citation databases in the European context, and, on that basis, examines their relevance for Croatia through a case study. More specifically, the paper analyses the profile of the Zbornik Pravnog fakulteta u Zagrebu (Collected Papers of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb), the oldest Croatian law journal, in the period from 2007 (the first year of its inclusion in Scopus) until the end of 2024, both with regard to its substantive characteristics and accessibility, and the impact that the published articles have had within the wider academic community. Citation rates in Scopus and Google Scholar are compared, while particular attention is devoted to the linguistic distribution of the most highly cited papers. The paper concludes that the number of citations in commercial bibliographic databases constitutes a questionable measure for evaluating research output in legal scholarship, whereas the sustainability of scholarly journals that address local specificities, establish professional linguistic standards in the national language, bring together the local academic and professional community, and create links with the national educational system is of particular importance in nationally oriented disciplines, to which legal scholarship undoubtedly belongs.
